About Russ
Russ rocked guitar and vocals for popular live band MOBY DICK, touring the pub circuit as well as supporting acts like Skyhooks, Little River Band and AC/DC (yes, ACDC with Bon Scott). Family life led to a successful cabaret stint with CASABLANCA and establishing ‘Zimsound Studios’ in Southeast Melbourne.
While creating advertising jingles for television and radio, Russ launched ‘55 ALIVE’ with another vocalist, becoming one of Australia’s top ‘50’s’ Rock ‘n Roll acts. They featured on major TV shows: Steve Vizard Tonight, Hey Hey It’s Saturday and Ernie Sigley.
